Class: Regular Social Studies

Overview:

Today in class we discussed the first 2016 Presidental Debate. We disussed the observations from those students that watched the debat. We looked at the media coverage of the debate from two different media outlets, CNN and FOX News.

We noted the difference in the images used, the headlines used, and the content of the video and articles. We noted that both media sites are biased. CNN leans more liberal, pro Democratic ideas, and Fox leans more conservative Republican ideas.

Assignments:

- Start to look over the study guide for the Chapter 17 test
