Overview:
Today
in class we will look at the logistics of building the Transcontinental
Railroad. We will look at the resources needed and the difficulty at sourcing
those items and moving those items across the prairie. We will work on a
handout that deals with the math and large numbers of supplies needed for the
construction of the rail.
We will
go over the Chapter 17 Study Guide. There will be a test over chapter 17 on
September 29th. Remember that tests count for 55% of your overall
grade in Social Studies.
