Overview:

Today in class we will look at the Panama Canal. This is considered one of the greatest engineering acomplishments in history. We will watch a video that illustrates how the locks of the canal work.

After that we will read pages 693-695 in the textbook and answer the questions on the Panama Canal Handout. We will Finish the handout in class on Monday if we do not complete it in class today.

Miscellaneous: Get some sleep, in a recent study 80% of US teens grades are negatively effected due to lack of sleep.
