Class: Regular Social Studies
Overview:
Last night was the last Presidential Debate for 2016 between Secretary Clinton, and Donald Trump. We will take a few mins at the beginning of class to discuss the debate and get input from students that watched the debate. We will look at a few recent polls and check the headline from various news outlets to see if we can spot media bias towards one candidate over another.
We will then take a look at the struggle for women to gain voting rights. We will discuss the societal role of women during this time period. We will view and analyze some pro and con womens voting posters as well as a few newspaper cartoon on the topic.
Assignments:

Miscellaneous: Get some sleep, in a recent study 80% of US teens grades are negatively effected due to lack of sleep.
