Overview:

I will be out of class today. Please follow the substitute plans below.

1. Please put on the board under “What will I learn today” this: What is women’s suffrage?

2. You can read aloud (having some students also read)with the students or you can have them read it on their own. This is up to you and what you feel comfortable doing.

3. Have the students read Chaper 19 Sec 3 page 656-659 : The Rights of women

4. After the students have read the section have them do a brainpop.

5. Have them log into www.brainpop.com user wscohen

6. Find and watch the video “women’s suffrage” have them use headphones. I have a box of WWII era headphones on the shelf in a box by the front of my desk.

7. After they complete the video have them take the “Quiz”

8. Have them select “Graded”

9. Take the quiz

10.At the end of the quiz select “email your results”

11.Email results to jbusque@bangorschools.net

12. There is no homework

Miscellaneous: Get some sleep, in a recent study 80% of US teens grades are negatively effected due to lack of sleep.
