Overview:

Today in class we will look at two aspects of the Industrial Revolution: 1) Immigration, and 2) monopoly in American business.

We will watch a short video from the History Channel on Immigration and Ellie Island.

We will look at a few immigration charts to investigate how much immigration the US had, as well as where did the immigration come from. We will also discuss some pros and cons to immigration.

Assignments:

Miscellaneous: Get some sleep, in a recent study 80% of US teens grades are negatively effected due to lack of sleep.
